These Crab & Shrimp Toasts are the perfect appetizer for any party. They are super easy to make and beyond delicious! There’s just enough mayo to bind everything together and you’re really able to taste the sweetness of the crab and shrimp. I also use a little bit of Laughing Cow Cheese to add creaminess without overpowering the shrimp and crab. The spicy mayo gives it a slight kick and tang that brings the whole dish together. These pair really well with a nice Chardonnay or Prosecco!

Ingredients
- ½ Cup Fresh Crab Meat, you can find it in the refrigerated section at Whole Foods, Costco or Sprouts
- ¾ Pound Raw Shrimp, peeled & deveined, chopped into ½ inch pieces
- 3 wedges of Laughing Cow Cheese
- ½ Cup Mayonnaise
- ½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- ½ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- ¼ Teaspoon Granulated Sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 2 Green Onions, white & green parts separated and chopped
- 1 Baguette, sliced into ½ inch pieces
- Paprika
SPICY MAYO SAUCE
- ¼ Cup Mayonnaise
- 1 Teaspoon Sriracha
- 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
Method
- 1)
Pre-heat the oven to 400°F. Place 3 wedges of Laughing Cow Cheese into a large bowl and smash them with a fork until smooth. Add the Shrimp, ½ Cup of Mayonnaise, ½ Teaspoon of Kosher Salt, ½ Teaspoon of Ground Black Pepper, ¼ Teaspoon of Granulated Sugar, ¼ Teaspoon of Garlic Powder and the white parts of the green onions – mix well. Add the crab and toss gently to evenly distribute the crab.
- 2)
Place a large spoonful of the shrimp and crab mixture onto each baguette slice. Place them onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silpat. Bake at 400°F for 13 minutes. The shrimp should be cooked through and the toast should look lightly browned.
- 3)
Make the spicy mayo sauce by combining ¼ Cup of Mayonnaise, 1 Teaspoon Sriracha and 1 Teaspoon of Lemon Juice. Use a squeeze bottle or place the sauce into a ziplock bag and just snip the corner off and drizzle on top of each piece of toast. Sprinkle a little bit of paprika and garnish with chopped green onions. Enjoy!
*If you don’t want to include the Spicy Mayo, just squeeze a little bit on lemon juice over the toast before serving.

Hello, I would not freeze this after making it, it’s best consumed shortly after it’s made. If you mean can you use frozen shrimp or crab, then yes you can, just defrost it ahead of time.
