One of my kids’s favorite Studio Ghibli films is Ponyo, so I thought it would be fun to recreate Ponyo’s ramen for them – it’s one of the cutest scenes in the movie, I love how Ponyo is so excited to have her first bowl of ramen with ham! It’s very quick and simple to make since you use instant ramen and a few basic toppings.

I used Nissin Raoh ramen, it’s one of the best Japanese instant ramen brands, you can purchase a variety pack here.Ponyo’s Ramen Recipe - Studio Ghibli Meal

Use these Wilton edible ink markers to recreate the simple red & blue stripe design on the ramen bowls from Ponyo, these will wash off.  If you want a more permanent option, you can use permanent acrylic markers that work on ceramic + you’ll need to use a sealant to make it permanent.  You can try drawing on the design with kids washable makers first to practice. Ponyo’s Ramen Recipe - Studio Ghibli Meal
