Let’s make Yuzu Butter Mochi using the Trader Joe’s Mochi Cake Mix + Trader Joe’s Yuzu Ice Cream – the batter is super simple to mix up and you end up with butter mochi that is satisfyingly chewy & bouncy. I love the textural difference between the soft, chewy centers with the crisp edges (edges only stay crisp on the day you make them, the next day the edges get softer) You can also swap out the yuzu ice cream for any other ice cream flavor.
